On Monday, April 2, 2018 shortly before 4:00 p.m. Woodstock Police received a 911 call from a business on Norwich Avenue in the City of Woodstock. Police arrived to investigate a Robbery.
A male entered the business through the front door and proceeded directly to the prescription drop off counter. The male was carrying a hammer and duffle bag. The male demanded prescription narcotics.
A female stood at the front of the business as a look out.
The male and female left the business and got into a car fleeing South on Norwich Avenue.
Two citizens observed the male and female running to a vehicle and took photos.
Woodstock Police sent out a Broadcast to other Police Services with the suspects and vehicle information.
On April 3, 2018 shortly after midnight Durham Regional Police Officers located the suspect vehicle and the two suspects. Woodstock Police attended Durham Region and arrested both parties.
Jordan KRUGER, age 24, of Beaverton and Dawn BRIGGS, age 25 were charged with Robbery. Both appeared in Ontario Court in the City of Woodstock for a Bail Hearing on April 3, 2018 and were held in custody.
Police recovered the narcotics which have a street value of $60,000.
