Woodstock, ON (June 7, 2021)

 

COLLISION

On Friday, June 4, 2021 at approximately 8:00 a.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to the area of Huron Street and Ingersoll Avenue for a four vehicle collision. The collision resulted in minor injuries and a 52-year-old female of Woodstock was charged with Fail to Stop – Red Light.

 

BREAK & ENTER

The Woodstock Police Service are looking for information in relation to a break and enter theft. On Friday, June 4, 2021 the Woodstock Police Service responded to a residence in the area of Three Wood Drive for reports of a an unlocked shed being entered overnight. A Stihl weed eater, GT Avalanche mountain bike and power washer were allegedly stolen from the shed.

BIKE THEFT

The Woodstock Police Service is looking for information about an e-bike reported as stolen. On Friday, June 4, 2021 at sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. a red and black GiD E-Bike was allegedly stolen from a residence in the area of Dundas Street near Duke Street. The e-bike is described as having a cracked front windscreen, large mirrors and handle bars, black and red cargo case on the rear, and e-bike licence plate on the rear, pedals and a black seat.

STOLEN VEHICLE

The Woodstock Police Service is looking for information about a vehicle reported stolen. On Saturday, June 5, 2021 at approximately 5:30 a.m. a blue 2007 Cadillac CTS was allegedly stolen from a parking lot on Devonshire Avenue near Blossom Park Road and Industrial Avenue.

STUNT DRIVING CHARGE

On Saturday, June 5, 2021 at approximately 10:45 a.m. while conducting speed enforcement in the area of Parkinson Road, the Woodstock Police Service Traffic Unit observed a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle was captured by RADAR traveling 126 km/h in a marked 50 km/h zone.

As a result, a 31-year-old Woodstock male holding a MG2 licence was charged with stunt driving. The motorcycle and licence were seized and suspended for 7 days.

 

IMPAIRED DRIVER

On Sunday, June 6, 2021 at approximately 4:20 a.m. a Woodstock Police Service officer conducted a routine traffic stop for speeding in the area of Dundas Street and Woodall Way. As a result of the investigation a 19-year-old male was given a three day licence suspension, and charged for speeding and Young Driver – Blood Alcohol Concentration Above Zero.

 

ARSON

On Sunday, June 6, 2021 at approximately 7:50 p.m. the Woodstock Police Service and Woodstock Fire Department responded to the area of Industrial Avenue for reports of a fire. The fire was deemed suspicious and the investigation is ongoing at this time. As a result, there were approximately $50,000 in damages.
