Woodstock, ON (June 9, 2021) – On Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at approximately 3:00 a.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to a report of a break and enter and stolen vehicle from the area of Norwich Avenue near Houndsfield Street. Police quickly located the vehicle on James Street where it had struck a pole and located the suspect on Dundas Street.

As a result, a 31-year-old female of Woodstock has been arrested and charged with:

  • Break, Enter a Place – Commit Indictable Offence
  • Theft Under $5000
  • Careless Driving
  • Fail to Remain
  • Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence



On Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at approximately 10:50, the Woodstock Police Service observed a vehicle that had been reported as stolen in the area of Substation Road and Cedar Line. A male occupant exited the vehicle and attempted to leave the area on foot. Police arrested the male and located suspected fentanyl and four knives.

As a result a 34-year-old male of Woodstock has been arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (Other Than Heroin)
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Occupant of Motor Vehicle Taken Without Consent
  • Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
