Woodstock, ON (October 4, 2021)

 

CHILD CONSUMES CANNABIS EDIBLES

The Woodstock Police Service would like to remind those who consume cannabis, particularly edibles such as gummies or other sweets, to be mindful of safe storage away from children after police and paramedics responded to a report of an 8-year-old child eating a large quantity of cannabis gummies over the weekend. The child was transported to hospital to be monitored and remained in stable condition.

 

Police encourage adults to safely store any alcohol and cannabis products out of reach or behind locked doors to ensure children do not consume them by mistake. 

 

BREAK & ENTER THEFT

Sometime between 6:00 p.m. on September 30, 2021 and 6:30 a.m. on October 1, 2021 unknown suspect(s) reportedly entered a trailer parked at a site on Ingersoll Road and stole a laptop.

 

THEFT OF TRAILER

On Friday, October 1, 2021 the Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of a stolen trailer that was in a parking lot on Sutherland Drive. The trailer was described as an 18’, blue, enclosed 2008 American Hauler.

 

SIGNIFICANT VEHICLE DAMAGE

The Woodstock Police Service responded to a report of significant damage caused to a vehicle. Sometime between 6:00 p.m. on October 1, 2021 and 8:00 a.m. on October 2, 2021 unknown suspect(s) reportedly damaged a vehicle parked on James Street including a smashed windshield, hood damage and a torn off mirror.
