Woodstock, ON (October 7, 2021) – In the evening of Wednesday, October 6, 2021 members of the Community Response Unit and Uniform Patrol conducted a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program in the area of Mill Street. Police are happy to announce that no infractions were found among the 150 vehicles stopped.

With the Thanksgiving long weekend approaching, the Woodstock Police Service would like to remind the community that Police, other first responders and medical staff will be spending their thanksgiving weekend keeping the community safe and healthy. We ask that the members of our community do the same and celebrate the thanksgiving weekend safely by doing your part to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep our roads safe by not getting behind the wheel if impaired.

Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving weekend!
