THEFTS, STOLEN VEHICLE, ASSAULT

THEFT OF TOOLS

On Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at approximately 8:25 p.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of a theft from a trailer. The trailer described as a 7x14 enclosed tandem trailer was located in a parking lot behind a building in the area of Dundas Street and Fidler Avenue. Sometime between 4:00 p.m. on January 10, 2022 and 6:30 a.m. on January 11, 2022, unknown suspect(s) reportedly broke into the trailer and stole three tool boxes with various tools inside.

 

The toolboxes and tools were located and returned to the owner, however police are still looking for information about potential suspect(s).

STOLEN VEHICLE

On Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at approximately 12:00 p.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to Delatre Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 2016 metallic gray Toyota Tacoma.

ATTEMPTED THEFT

On Tuesday, January 11, 2022, police responded to reports of a male taking property off porches including a back pack and a package in the area of Chippewa Avenue and Cree Avenue. The investigation revealed the male suspect was wanted by the Woodstock Police Service and as a result the 45-year-old male of Woodstock was arrested on the outstanding warrant.

 

ASSAULT

On Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at approximately 4:00 p.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of multiple people assaulting a male and causing mischief to a vehicle. The suspects fled the area prior to police arrival. While patrolling the area of Southside Park, Police located a male and female matching the descriptions of the suspects involved in the assault and mischief

 

As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old male of Woodstock and 21-year-old female of Woodstock were jointly charged with Mischief and Assault.
