DRUG TRAFFICKING CHARGES

 

Woodstock, ON (January 14, 2022) – On Thursday, January 13, 2022 at approximately 1:45 a.m. while on general patrol, a Woodstock Police Service officer conducted a routine traffic stop on Springbank Avenue after observing a vehicle with the wrong licence plates.

 

The investigation revealed that the male driver and female passenger were in possession of drugs.

 

As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old female and 23-year-old male both of Woodstock were both charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Other Drugs
  • Possession for the Purpose of Distributing

 

The female was also charged with Obstruct Peace Officer while the male was also charged with Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.
