WOODSTOCK, ON (June 7, 2022)
BREAK & ENTER, THEFT
On Sunday, June 5, 2022 the Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of a break and enter and theft from a residence that took place sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. At approximately 10:10 a.m. police located a male in the area of Roth Park with the items reported missing from the home.
As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old male was arrested and charged with:
- Break, Enter Dwelling House – Commit Indictable Offence
- Theft Under $5000
OVERNIGHT BREAK & ENTER/VEHICLE ENTRIES
On Sunday, June 5, 2022 the Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of a theft from a vehicle that was parked at a residence on Normandy Drive. A wallet was reported as stolen from the vehicle and it is suspected the vehicle was entered at approximately 1:00 a.m.
On Monday, June 6, 2022 the Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of mischief to a vehicle parked in the area of Wilson Street between Peel Street and Main Street. The vehicle was described as a Dodge Caravan and it was reported to police that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) smashed the rear window of the vehicle.
On Monday, June 6, 2022 the Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of a vehicle entry theft. Sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) reportedly entered a Chevrolet Impala parked at a residence on Wilson Street near Main Street and stole a variety of items including a cell phone.
On Monday, June 6, 2022 the Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of a break and enter to a detached garage on Chapel Street near Hounsfield Street.

BREAK & ENTER, MISCHIEF
On Monday, June 6, 2022 at approximately 4:00 p.m. the Woodstock Police Service attended an address on McGill Lane where workers located an unknown male sleeping in the residence. As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old male of Woodstock was arrested and charged with:
- Unlawfully in Dwelling House
- Mischief – Obstructs, interrupts or interferes with any person in the lawful use of property
- Mischief – Destroys or damages property
The Woodstock Police Service received report of a suspicious male in a Ford Escape SUV parked in a parking lot in the area of Juliana Drive and Norwich Avenue. The male in the vehicle began speaking to a female asking if she was single. The male also asked a male if he knew of any pretty women and made a hand gesture to indicate money.
The Woodstock Police Service encourages anyone who has had similar interactions to report it to police.

- Keep a phone accessible in the event of needing to make a quick call to 911 or a friend
- Stay in well-lit and observable areas – avoid dark or secluded areas in parking lots
