WOODSTOCK, ON (September 20, 2022)

 

DAMAGED CAR COVER

On Sunday, September 18, 2022 sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. in the area of Edward Street and Riddell Street, unknown suspect(s) reportedly caused damage to a custom car cover. The car cover was ripped down the passenger side causing a scratch to the vehicle on the front passenger door.

 

THEFT CHARGES   

On Sunday, September 18, 2022 at approximately 12:40 p.m. while on patrol, a Woodstock Police Service officer observed a male stealing product from a business on Dundas Street near Clarke Street.

 

As a result of the investigation, the 36-year-old male of Woodstock was arrested and charged with:

  • Theft Under $5000 – Shoplifting
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

 

DRUG CHARGES

On Sunday, September 18, 2022 at approximately 5:50 p.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to the area of Canterbury Street for reports of a man swinging a golf club toward a man with a bicycle and the bicycle was then reportedly stolen. Police quickly located and arrested a male suspect and returned the bicycle its rightful owner.

 

Upon further investigation, the accused was found to be in possession of drugs. As a result of the investigation, the 41-year-old male of Woodstock, was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin).

 

BREAK & ENTER

Sometime between 7:00 p.m. on September 11, 2022 and 6:00 p.m. on September 18, 2022 unknown suspect(s) reportedly broke into a residence on Normandy Drive and went through the house creating a mess. The suspect(s) reportedly stole a number of electronics including gaming consoles, headphones, controllers and games.
