Full-time summer employment for Woodstock youth (ages 15–18).

The Youth in Policing Initiative (YIPI) offers paid, 8-week summer positions (40 hours/week) with the Woodstock Police Service (WPS) for students who live in Woodstock and are returning to school in the fall.

About the Program

YIPI introduces young people to the many sides of policing while building leadership, teamwork, and job-ready skills. Participants work with various WPS units, connect with local youth organizations, support community initiatives and events, and develop real-world experience in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

YIPI is delivered in partnership with Ontario’s Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services and complements province-wide youth programs.
