Woodstock, ON – The Woodstock Police Service has arrested a man following a threatening incident at a Woodstock business.
On May 6, 2026, at approximately 2:20 p.m., police responded to a business on Dundas Street following reports of a male who had allegedly made threats and poured gasoline both inside and outside the business premises.
The suspect had attended the business multiple times throughout the day after being denied services and became increasingly agitated. The suspect poured gasoline around the storefront and threatened to set the business on fire.
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old Woodstock resident has been arrested and charged with:
• Mischief Under $5,000
• Uttering Threats to Cause Damage to Property
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
