Woodstock, ON – The Woodstock Police Service investigated two stolen vehicle incidents that occurred on May 17, 2026, in which a semi-truck and a flatbed trailer carrying all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) were stolen from the area of Bysham Park Road in Woodstock.

On May 19, 2026, members of the Woodstock Police Service Street Crime Unit (SCU) recovered the stolen semi-truck in Cambridge and continued the investigation.

As a result of the investigation, SCU members executed a search warrant at a commercial property in Cambridge on May 28, 2026. During the search, officers recovered a flatbed trailer containing ATVs and motorcycles. The investigation revealed that the trailer and vehicles had been stolen from London, Ontario.

In total, police recovered one trailer, 10 three-wheeled motorcycles, and eight ATVs, with an estimated combined value of approximately $550,000.

The Woodstock Police Service Auto Theft Unit continues to investigate and is working to recover additional outstanding stolen vehicles.

In response to the increasing complexity of vehicle-related crime investigations, the Woodstock Police Service recently established a dedicated Auto Theft Investigator position. The creation of this specialized role enhances the Service’s ability to identify, investigate, and disrupt auto theft and vehicle fraud-related offences.
