Woodstock, ON – On Thursday, June 25, 2026, at approximately 10:30 a.m., police were contacted regarding an assault that had occurred at a business on Dundas Street in Woodstock.
Investigation determined that a male attended the front entrance of the business, despite previously being trespassed from the property. While at the entrance, the male allegedly became aggressive toward an employee who had asked him to leave.
The male kicked and spat at the employee and struck the employee with a metal sign.
As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old male of Woodstock has been charged with:
- Enter Premises When Entry Prohibited
- Assault
- Assault with a Weapon
The accused was released on an undertaking with conditions.
