Woodstock, ON – On Friday, July 17, 2026, at approximately 10:45 a.m., members of the Woodstock Police Service responded to a residence in the area of Nellis Street regarding a dispute.

Police were advised that a male had left the area before officers arrived. While officers were at the scene, the male returned. He was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert.

As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old Woodstock man has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs

On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at approximately 1:40 a.m., a member of the Woodstock Police Service observed a vehicle travel through a red light in the area of Dundas Street and Wellington Street.

Police conducted a traffic stop and administered a roadside Approved Screening Device test, which the driver failed.

As a result of the investigation, a 47-year-old Woodstock man has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 Plus

On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at approximately 2:45 a.m., members of the Woodstock Police Service responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver at a business located on Huron Street.

Police were advised of erratic driving in the business parking lot. Police located the vehicle, made an Approved Screening Device demand and provided the driver with several opportunities to provide a breath sample. The driver failed to comply with the demand and was arrested.

During a search following the arrest, police located a small quantity of suspected cocaine.

As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old man has been charged with:

  • Failure or Refusal to Comply with a Demand
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine

On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Woodstock Police Service responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver in the area of Pavey Street and Fyfe Avenue. Police were advised that a person had allegedly been behaving aggressively toward several individuals in the area.

Officers located the driver, who was subsequently arrested for impaired operation. While in custody, the driver continued to behave aggressively toward officers and threw an object at them.

The accused’s blood alcohol concentration registered more than twice the legal limit.

As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old Woodstock man has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 Plus
  • Assault Peace Officer
  • Failure to Comply with a Probation Order

All parties were released and scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
