Woodstock, ON – A 27-year-old Woodstock man is facing multiple charges after officer observed a vehicle driving dangerously through several city streets before colliding with a fence.

On January 3, 2026, at approximately 11:50 p.m., a Woodstock Police officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed through the Woodstock Raceway parking lot, nearly striking a parked vehicle. The vehicle travelled through neighbourhood streets at high speed, leaving the roadway several times and failing to stop at multiple intersections before colliding with a snow pile and construction fencing in the area of Hunter Street. Police followed the vehicle and arrested the driver for impairment. The driver refused to provide breath samples.

As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old male from Woodstock has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired
  • Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand
  • Dangerous Operation

The male was released on an Undertaking.
