Woodstock, ON – On January 9, 2026, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Woodstock Police were called to a parking lot in the area of Norwich Avenue following a report of a male revving a vehicle for an extended period and appearing impaired. Officers located the vehicle with the driver slumped in the driver’s seat and the engine running.
Police arrested the driver for impairment. The driver was later evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), who confirmed impairment.
As a result of the investigation, a 54-year-old male of Woodstock has been charged with:
- Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
The accused was released on an undertaking with conditions.
