Woodstock, ON – On Saturday, June 27, 2026, at approximately 1 p.m., police responded to the area of Warwick Street and Cambridge Street for a reported motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.

Multiple people witnessed a motorcycle travelling on Warwick Street at a high rate of speed in a school zone. The driver lost control near a bend in the road and crashed onto the lawn of a nearby residence.

Following the collision, the driver allegedly attempted to leave the scene with the motorcycle but was prevented by residents in the area. Police arrived and arrested a 29-year-old male of Woodstock and charged him with:

  • Dangerous Operation
  • Failure to Stop After Accident
  • Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence

The accused was released with a future court date.
