Woodstock, ON – A 19-year-old Innerkip man has been charged with stunt driving following a traffic stop.
On January 2, 2026, at approximately 8 p.m., a Woodstock Police officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Oxford Road 4. The officer followed the vehicle and determined it was travelling at speeds above 140 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
The driver, a 19-year-old male from Innerkip, was stopped and charged with:
- Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt (Speeding 50 km/h or more over the limit)
In accordance with Ontario’s stunt driving legislation, the driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
