Woodstock, ON – A 33-year-old Woodstock male is facing multiple charges following a theft investigation at a retail business on Norwich Avenue.
On May 25, 2026, at approximately 4 p.m., Woodstock Police responded to a report of a theft at a business in the Norwich Avenue area after a male exited the store with merchandise without making payment.
During the incident, a store employee was assaulted, and property damage occurred within the store.
As a result of the investigation, the accused has been charged with:
- Theft Under $5,000
- Failure to Comply with a Probation Order
- Assault
- Mischief Under $5,000 (two counts)
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
