Woodstock, ON – The Woodstock Police Service has laid impaired driving charges following a 911 call regarding a vehicle stopped in a live lane of traffic.

On May 3, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m., police received a report of a vehicle stopped in the roadway on Parkinson Road in Woodstock. The vehicle was occupied by two unconscious individuals while it remained running.

The driver was arrested for impaired operation and medically assessed.

As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old male from Woodstock has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80 mg

The accused was released on an undertaking.
