Woodstock, ON – The Woodstock Police Service has laid multiple charges following a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Fairway Road.
On October 2, 2026, at approximately 5:45 p.m., police responded to a collision at the intersection of Fairway Road and Three Wood Drive.
The investigation determined that a vehicle and a motorcycle had collided and that, following the collision, the motorcycle driver left the scene on foot.
Police attended and located the motorcycle at the collision scene. An investigation determined that the licence plate attached to the motorcycle was not authorized for the vehicle. Officers attended a nearby residence, where they located the motorcycle driver.
As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old male from Woodstock has been charged with:
- Fail to Remain
- Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle
- Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence
- Owner Operate Motor Vehicle on a Highway – No Insurance
The Woodstock Police Service reminds motorists that all vehicles operated on public roadways must be properly registered and insured, and drivers must hold the appropriate class of licence. Drivers involved in a collision are also required to remain at the scene and fulfill their obligations under the Highway Traffic Act.
