Clerical and Records Services

A dedicated team of civilian members make up the Clerical and Records Services Unit. This team plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Woodstock Police Service by maintaining accurate records, processing public requests, and supporting both front-line and investigative staff.

Their responsibilities include:

  • Records management and maintenance
  • Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
  • Criminal record clearances
  • Statistical crime coding and data entry
  • Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) updates
  • Providing quality customer service to the public

The Clerical and Records team ensures that police records are accurate, confidential, and compliant with provincial and federal legislation, including the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).
