Missing Persons Acts Reports
The Woodstock Police Service Board is required to make publicly available an annual report in accordance with the Missing Persons Act. Use of Force Reports
The Woodstock Police Service Board is required to publish an annual Use of Force Report online in accordance with Ontario Regulation 391/23: Use of Force and Weapons, a regulation under the Community Safety and Policing Act. This report must include statistical information on incidents where members of the Woodstock Police Service used force, along with details on the types of force and weapons deployed.
Collection of Identifying Information in Certain Circumstances Reports
The Woodstock Police Service Board is required to publish an annual report online in accordance with Ontario Regulation 400/23: Collection of Identifying Information in Certain Circumstances – Prohibition and Duties, a regulation under the Community Safety and Policing Act. This report must include details on the collection of identifying information by members of the Woodstock Police Service, including the circumstances under which it occurred and any related statistical data.
Special Investigations Reports
The Woodstock Police Service Board is required to publish reports on Special Investigations Unit (SIU) investigations in accordance with the Community Safety and Policing Act and its regulations. When the SIU investigates an incident involving the Woodstock Police, the Chief of Police must submit a report to the Board within the prescribed timeline. The Board is then required to publish the report online within 30 days of receiving it. These reports exclude personal identifying information and other protected details. By making these reports publicly accessible, the Board ensures transparency and accountability in compliance with legislative requirements.
