The Woodstock Police Service is accepting applications from internal and external applicants for the following position:
DIGITAL EVIDENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (DEMS) CLERK (FULL-TIME)
The Woodstock Police Service is a municipal policing agency comprised of approximately 100 Officers and 50 Civilians who are dedicated to servicing the city of Woodstock, Ontario. Woodstock is a rapidly growing community situated along the highway 401 & 403 corridors between London and Toronto. Position:
The Administrative DEMS Clerk shall be responsible for the effective operations and management of the control, collection, redaction, disclosure and destruction of all digitally collected evidence in use by members of the police service.
This position requires a high degree of sensitivity to confidential matters and good interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Applicants must be able to organize and prioritize tasks. Applicants must possess strong technical and administrative law enforcement knowledge and have advanced experience with software such as NICHE/RMS, Adobe and Power Point. Experience with AXON evidence management would be an asset.
The Woodstock Police Service is looking for an individual who has experience in creating and delivering training development plans complete with materials, tutorials, instructions and learning resources that will be accessible to all system users.

The rate of pay will be in keeping with the current Civilian Collective Agreement, ranging from $65,686.40 to $78,145.66 annually.
Minimum Qualifications:
- College Diploma in Law Enforcement, Business Administration or I.T. related studies.
- Three (3) years of previous relevant work experience
- Experience with technologies for instruction and teaching platforms
- Proficient computer skills: Adobe, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and view sensitive material on a regular basis.
- Must be available to work overtime to meet the needs of the organization when required.
