Applicants Must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally eligible to to work in Canada
- Have at least a valid class G driver's licence
- Be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident (NOTE: If you were born outside of Canada, submit citizenship or permanent residency documentation with your application package.)
Job Requirements:
Education:
- High-school education or General Education Development (GED) equivalent
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Excellent written communication skills
- Multilingualism an asset
Fitness:
- Ability to meet the physical demands of police duty
- Complete the Police Fitness Test.
Character:
- Strong sense of morality, character and integrity
- Positive role model
- History of community volunteerism
- Trustworthy and responsible
- Strong leader
