You will need a valid email address to complete the online report process. Once you submit your report, the system will provide you with a temporary report number. Police may contact you by phone or email for more information before your report is accepted. Once accepted, you will receive an email with a pdf copy of your police report (which will include the report number and officer information).

Damage/Mischief to Property |
Mischief, damage or vandalism has been caused to private property. This does NOT include damage to a vehicle.

Lost/Stolen License Plate |
Licence plates are missing or believed to have been stolen. Does NOT include licence plates attached to a vehicle suspect of being stolen. |
Mischief/Damage to Vehicle (Under $5000) |
Damage has been caused to a motor vehicle. This does NOT include damage as a result of a motor vehicle collision or damage to the ignition.

Theft (Under $5000) |
This includes any property that was taken without your permission. This does NOT include property taken from a motor vehicle or if you suspect that your residence was broken into and the theft occurred. Property with a value less than $5,000 that is believed to have been stolen such as items stolen from your yard, driveway, porch, locker or public area, etc. |
Theft from Vehicle (Under $5000) |
Property has been taken from your vehicle. This does NOT include licence plates, accessible parking permits or any attempts to steal the actual vehicle. Your vehicle has been entered without your permission and items with a value of less than $5,000 has been taken. This may also include items such as tires, parts and tailgates. There is no obvious damage to the ignition. |
Do NOT file a report online if:
- The incident is an emergency
- The incident happened outside of Woodstock, Ontario
- There is a known suspect
- You are in possession of any evidence
- The value of the theft, loss or property damage is more than $5,000
- Someone broke into a home, garage, shed or business
- The incident involves a car accident
- The report is of the theft or loss of a firearm
- The incident involves any form of personal violence, including domestic (intimate partner) violence
- The incident involved vandalism or graffiti that could be hate motivated.
