You will need a valid email address to complete the online report process. Once you submit your report, the system will provide you with a temporary report number. Police may contact you by phone or email for more information before your report is accepted. Once accepted, you will receive an email with a PDF copy of your police report (which will include the report number and officer information).
The following incidents can be reported online:
Do NOT file a report online if:
- The incident is an emergency
- The incident happened outside of Woodstock, Ontario
- There is a known suspect
- You are in possession of any evidence
- The value of the theft, loss or property damage is more than $5,000
- Someone broke into a home, garage, shed or business
- The incident involves a car accident
- The report is of the theft or loss of a firearm
- The incident involves any form of personal violence, including domestic (intimate partner) violence
- The incident involved vandalism or graffiti that could be hate motivated.
