DRUG TRAFFICKING
WOODSTOCK, ON (June 19, 2024) – One is in custody facing drug trafficking charges.
On Saturday, June 15, 2024, the Woodstock Police Service Criminal Intelligence and Drug Enforcement Unit was conducting a drug trafficking investigation. As a result of the investigation, with the assistance of Uniform Patrol officers, one accused was arrested and police seized suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine with an approximate street value of $1500 and Canadian currency.
The accused, Michelle Lynn Marie GEORGESON-RHEA (37), of Woodstock is facing the following charges:
- One count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
- One count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin)
- One count of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
