IMPAIRED DRIVER
WOODSTOCK, ON (May 6, 2024) – Woodstock police charge driver found passed out behind the wheel.
On Sunday, May 5, 2024, at approximately 6:15 p.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to a report of a person passed out, believed to be in relation to drug use, in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the area of Frontenac Crescent.
Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the 30-year-old driver of Woodstock. The driver is facing one count of operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.
The Woodstock Police Service would like to remind drivers that the vehicle does not have to be in motion to be charged with impaired operation. Never get behind the wheel if you are impaired by drugs or alcohol.
