He was subsequently transported to Police Headquarters where he provided additional breath samples, indicating he had more than the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
The 26-year-old male driver of Brantford, Ontario, is facing the following charges:
• One count of Operation while Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
• One count of Speeding under the Highway Traffic Act
The Woodstock Police Service would like to remind drivers to find a safe, alternate way home rather than getting behind the wheel if you have been drinking, and if a member of the public observes signs of impaired driving, to please call 911 immediately.
