A record suspension (formerly known as a pardon) allows people who were convicted of a criminal offence to have their criminal record removed and kept separate and apart from other records.
You will need a local record search done by each police service where you live now and from every place you have lived in the last five years.
You can apply online or in person.
Our Records Unit is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm for in person requests. If you wish to mail your application, please send your request to:

Please include the following in your request for a local:
- Completed Record Suspension Application Form
- Clear photocopy of one piece of government issued identification
- Certified fingerprints from the RCMP (copy only is required)
- Certified cheque in the amount of $45.00, made payable to the Woodstock Police Service
Applications that are incomplete and/or missing payment will be sent back to you.
